Mutable Instruments' Clouds, Elements, Marbles, Plaits, Warps and Beads, plus Meld, running on one 12HP panel. Put them all on the SD card and switch between them from the Lab's own firmware picker. The sound engines are Emilie Gillet's original code (and, for Warps and Meld, Matthias Puech's Parasites), unmodified apart from two marked fixes and one upstream switch (Beads' 48 kHz path).
Records what you feed J1/J2 and plays it back as grains, a time-stretch, a looping delay, or a spectral smear. Freeze on B1.
Bow, blow or strike a resonating body: strings, plates, tubes. Three pages of controls, and your own audio on J1/J2 as the exciter.
Three gates and four voltages, drawn from the distributions you set, locked into loops with déjà vu. Every jack but one becomes an output.
All 24 synthesis models, from virtual analog to speech, chords and drums, with its low-pass gate and an aux output on J10.
Two signals in, one collision out: ring mods, folds, XOR, a vocoder, frequency shift, Doppler and delay. Matthias Puech's Parasites firmware.
Warps Parasites plus stock Warps as a tenth mode, with a coincidence gate and both envelopes out as CV. First built for the Daisy Patch.
Clouds' successor and the last Mutable module to be open-sourced: grains, a delay mode, four recording qualities, and a wavetable synth when nothing is patched in.
Every firmware builds, and each engine passes its test suite running on a computer. None has been flashed to a module yet. Each manual lists what to check on the hardware.

SD card zip · all sevenCloudsElementsMarblesPlaitsWarpsMeldBeadselements.smp
The zip holds all seven firmwares and the Elements samples, laid out for the card: unzip it onto the card's top level and the .bin files land in /alchemy, elements.smp in /mi. Release notes and SHA-256 checksums.
/alchemy/clouds_alchemy.bin /alchemy/elements_alchemy.bin /alchemy/marbles_alchemy.bin /alchemy/plaits_alchemy.bin /alchemy/warps_alchemy.bin /alchemy/meld_alchemy.bin /alchemy/beads_alchemy.bin /mi/elements.smp Elements' exciter samples /alchemy/state/ written by the firmwares: each one's saved settings
Then hold B2 and B3 for two seconds to open Settings, turn to the firmware page, and pick one.
Without /mi/elements.smp, Elements still plays, but its strike and blow samples are silent.
They share the card with Smack, Mark, Belt, Relay and the other Lab firmwares. Each firmware here keeps its settings in its own file on the card, /alchemy/state/<name>.st, written five seconds after
your last change, so switching firmwares doesn't lose them. Up to v0.1.0 they used preset slots 6–11.
The first boot of v0.2.0 copies those settings onto the card, and after that slots 6–11 are free for
presets you save yourself. The other firmwares keep their slots, 1–5 and 12–15.
Clouds' time-stretch mode is silent when built from the current eurorack source, because a 2023 merge dropped one line. It's fixed here, and the fix was sent upstream as pichenettes/eurorack #72.
